What is Millwork?

Millwork isn’t a word you hear often. A contractor may use it when they’re building or remodeling your home, but that’s about it. Some may infer that it has something to do with a sawmill, and you’d be right. However, we want you to understand all that it involves, especially since it’s part of our name! Once you learn all of the “millwork” we can do for you, it could change how you see your home or building design. In other words, Stone Creek can create much more than custom cabinets for you. Items such as base trim, crown molding, interior doors, door frames, window casing, chair rails, and wood paneling are all examples of millwork. All of the items are cut and created from raw lumber in a sawmill.
